Important Information
The regulations for entry into the United States of America has been changed as of the 12th January 2009. All
visitors who intend using the Visa Waiver Programme (VWP) nations which includes the United Kingdom, must obtain an
electronic travel authorisation, before arriving in the United States, through the ESTA website.
All travellers must fill out the online form which is available here: http://esta.cbp.dhs.gov/
Registration is free, but there are websites masquerading as the ESTA website who make charges. Care must be
taken to only use the website shown above, as using a search engine will not always take you
straight to the official site.
The online registration is valid for two years, however each travel arrangement within the two year
period must be updated.
